ski lifts

 

 we headed up the canyon to ride the lifts up at sundance.  it was gorgeous.  we missed most of the wildflowers (i always seem to miss the wildflowers!)

although holding a wiggly bebe/toddler on a ski lift is beyond nerve racking. it slightly distracted from the view! he was way to interested in exploring that lift, and i wanted him securely sitting between on one of our laps.

 

new toy

check out my spoon.  it is the newest cool thing.  i won't let it out of my sight.  it comes with me to the bath, goes to bed with me, keeps me occupied through costco.  i pretty much love it.

first harvest

this is the first harvest from our tomato plants out back. hopefully the first of many!

after a long drive home, we stopped at the salt flats for speed week.  we went to watch byu's electric vehicle, but weren't able to catch one of their races.

you are right little buddy.  it is really bright out there...

 picking blackberries along the river. and eating a fair share too.

 letting this little man explore the wild outdoors.  and trying to keep him out of the prickly berries.

oregon: flying kites

we spent a very windy day on the cape, flying kites.  it was gorgeous.  literally sitting on beds of wild strawberries. 

i attempted to get photos of the kites, but alas, ended up more of this little guy!

loving exploring all of the cousin's toys.  especially playing them with dad.

 we took little man down to the beach to test out the water.  i wasn't sure how he would react. turns out it was nothing but love.  he would erupt into giggles when the freezing cold water would creep up onto him.  okay the speed of the water was way more than a creep and would take my breath away when it hit me. 

  

priceless.

 

and when the water was gone, he was perfectly happy in the land of rocks.
