apparently we have a new veggie lover in the house.
i looked into the back yard just in time to catch stinker puppy with one of my cucumber plants- no longer anywhere near the garden where it was lovingly planted...
this is the pose he strikes when he gets in trouble.. something like.. "look at me, I'm just a sweet innocent pup... (or... "scratch my stomach instead of yell at me")
So far he has chewed a shoe (a chaco to be exact...) and a cucumber plant this week. that is bad news bears. prior to this, his record was spotless, and, well, I rather liked it that way.

When I first looked at your post it had just the title Vegetarian? and I was a little concerned - I'm happy to know there is more to the story!

sounds like he's entered the toddler stage. transitioning from puppy to dog. rough! or should i say ruff!?! smiles! he's a cute pup though.
Bummer, a chaco and cucumbers? I'm scared to have a dog..then again, Sam chews anything he gets his chub hands on, too. Hopefully he grows out of this phase fast!
