Cinco de Mayo & the Birthday Continues

For Family Home Evening on Cinco De Mayo, Bobby decided that the activity was going to be making a Pinata. I have to give him some major credit for that one!

We made a pretty giant mess with the newspaper, flour and water combo, but the final result turned out pretty good for our first try
(if we do say so ourself...)

Apparently we feel pretty affectionate toward our finished product

So here he is in all his glory, just waiting to be obliterated at the birthday party

The remnants...

Meesh's stash of the Goods...
We filled the Pinata with Fruit Snacks!
***Edit- the picture of Meesh shoving the fruit snacks down her shirt was removed.
Bobby said it was too questionable!***

yah, i think the photo of you and bobby with all that affection for the pinata was too much already, thanks for excluding that photo of meesh fondling someone that would have been too much.

happy happy birthday Megan dear, happy days will come to you all year, if I had one wish then it would be, a happy happy birthday to you from me!
ok, I know the birthday song is late! It looks like you had a fantastic day! One question, no offense to your awesome pinata making skills, but what is it?, an animal, a bird??
great pictures, as always!

Questionable!? Questionable!? It was fabulous was what it was...

And of course, Meggy your party was fabulous fun. Since you are a few days younger than I am, let me give you some advice... Live it up baby! You won't be 28 forever!
