Bobby and I are apparently not friends of little furry creatures. Bobby caught a glimpse at a scampering ugly mouse hiney running through our house, and stood there jaw dropped in what he calls "a dark place of fear" trying to get the words out about our new little pet living in the wall.
We immediately went to the Depot to get a high quality $2 trap. Did you know that they come with fake looking cheese on them? Yea I didn't buy that and we slathered it with peanut butter in case we got even a remotely smart mouse (or at least one with a nose...)
I got the heebie jeebies just holding the mouse trap. It is like I suddenly felt the little critter climbing up my leg. What is with that? Why does my brain envision things to make me feel crazy!
Anywho, I'll spare you the picture of what Bobby found when he came home today...

ewww! We've had a few in our garage and after each sighting I can't go out their with out shoes for weeks and even then I run and and then run back in like a little girl! Thanks for sparing the pictures!
it was a dark and COLD place, filled with disgust. i almost didn't recover
Oh no! How horrible!! Thanks for not including the "after" pictures!;)
for real... Bobby didn't spare me the pictures. He took them because I wasn't home and he wanted to show me the "after" photos
Ha ha the joys of being home owners. I totally have a picture of my dad holding an "after" picture. It's hilarious, I wish I could share, but I'm not going to post it on my blog. Good luck with keeping those pesky things out.
Eew! How nice of Bobby to show you the "after" photos. And I love the name if this post...pretty funny.
Come on Bobby, you're a ME! I wanted to see a homemade mousetrap!
geoff woke to find a trail of ants in the bathroom going from the sink to a hole in the counter to who knows where...that's creepy for me. hope the mouse didn't have friends. good luck!
happy thanksgiving. hope CA is fun.
Ew yuck! It reminds me of the Ubon house in Thailand. Not that I ever lived there, but I did have to sleep on the floor for a few days for exchanges and Zone Conference. Those girls had mice all over! I think they said they caught seven. Can we say "vomit"? Yeah...I had nightmares. Love you girl! And I love your blog. I live vicariously through you and Bobby!
