Gross

I pretty much love traditions. And I've been planning on eating my saved- frozen wedding cake on my first anniversary since my mom first planted that tradition in my young girl mind.

We ate it. We love you Mom. It was Gross.

LOL, we love mom too...ours sat in her car for a couple of days before it hit the freezer & we still kept it, but after cutting into it...it got dumped. Some traditions are meant to be broken and new ones introduced.

lol. awesome. I personally have no intention of having such a tradition. I hate leftovers and evening wedding cake counts as leftovers. :)

We love Mom, and she loves traditions - but freezer-burned cake...???

Did you get sick? Because when I was doing your other cake, I was told to be careful with putting daffodils on it cause they are kinda not consumable. And it looks like yours may have soaked right in!
But at least you can enjoy in the idea that you fulfilled that life long goal!

we ate far away from the flowers- we actually ate just a little tiny bites from the bottoms (as those flowers were beyond sad looking)

Lol... that is so funny at least you got to eat your cake. My family couldn't resist and ended up eating our cake for us... BEFORE A YEAR! See if I ever store food at that home again.. j/k.

We ate our cake on our one month anniversary to make sure the wonderful cake wouldn't go to waste. Too late for you though. Sad day!!
